Imagine sitting on the couch at night doing nothing, with a drink in hand and a great show on the television. Seems like a dream life. You can have these moments if you take action and prioritize what is important to you.

Knowing When to Take Action
When I talk to people, often I find they are trying to take action on items that aren’t the priority they thought they were. Knowing where to put your attention and when to take action is critical. If you don’t understand what your priorities are, you will need to get a good grasp on that first.
Figuring out what tasks are actually priorities will help you manage your time most effectively. This is harder than it sounds. That is why I’ve created a workbook to help you figure this all out. Let’s get your actual business and life priorities straightened out.
Once you know what is most important in your life you can decide appropriate actions to take. Either stop putting energy into things that aren’t serving you or start taking action to get the goals you want.
Where NOT to Put Energy

All too often I see people worry, cause anxiety, and live in fear over things they don’t control. You can’t control everything around you. There are just things outside our sphere of influence.
The sooner you realize this is needless energy being spent the better you will feel when you move on without worrying about it. These things are mood, energy, and dream killers.
Do not let the things you can’t control take over your life. Everyone has these types of decisions to make – some of us make them every day. Choose to live without letting these things take over.
Accept Your Ability to Thrive

You are a winner, even if you fail. Thriving and being successful do NOT mean you won’t have set backs. We as a society put so much attention on what success looks like that we forget to talk about the journey.
Failure is part of the process. Talk to any business owner who has been around more than a hot second, and you are going to find they have had failures.
It’s how you use the failures you experience that matters most. Do you review, assess, discuss, and take action? Or do you give up and never try again? Try, try, try!
