When times are tough people start questioning everything they are doing in business and may not be providing value. When times are going great, sometimes they forget to look at what is really working vs what provides solutions. At the heart of both of these situations is ensuring that you are providing great content that solves problems for your customers.

Value Not Equal to Free

Finding ways that you will be providing value can determine your business success. Customers come back when they get high value.

One of the biggest mistakes people make is assuming that providing good value means giving away a lot of things. This simply isn’t true. Everyone likes free things so sure it will work to bring you some customers, but no one is going to survive by giving everything away.

Value really means identifying pain points, translating them into solutions, and finding ways to provide those solutions to the customers. Value-added products are the key to helping everyone feel connected to you.

Make the Customer Connection

Clients and customers alike want to feel like they can trust those they are purchasing things from. If a customer has worked with you, understands your style, and appreciates your opinions they are more likely to purchase from you again in the future. One of the ways you can make a customer connection is having opt-ins that lead to a good Welcome Email Sequence so they can get to know you.

Providing Value – Caring is Key

One of my favorite lessons about how providing value, caring about customers, and understanding what people want comes from Gary Vaynerchuk. Watch this video and then tell me what you think.

Do you know what your Customer Need?

If you don’t know what your clients are looking for there are some strategies you can use to find out. Think about what they talk to you about. What are they searching for or trying to accomplish. Next, look in Facebook groups to identify what they are seeking. Last but not least, ask them. Simply reach out and ask.
