Think About What You Want to Achieve and Why You Want It.

Why is it that you want to be more motivated and a better upbeat version of yourself? Your self-motivation has to come from within, but what often helps is thinking about why we want something so bad. Are you trying to be more motivated at home or work?

Putting together a road map of what you want to achieve and WHY it’s important to do each step will help you keep yourself accountable. Think about all the steps along the way and how they will help us achieve our ultimate goal. For example, if your goal is weight loss, think of smaller milestones like losing 20 lbs or fitting into a size 16 instead of focusing on getting down to a 0X/XXS dress size because that can seem impossible, especially when trying to motivate ourselves.

Getting physical activity can help keep your mindset positive therefore motivating you! Remove the Self-Doubt

Self-doubt can be a massive obstacle to motivating ourselves. It’s hard to motivate yourself when we doubt our abilities or think that what we’re doing isn’t enough. Removing self-doubt is important for leading a more positive life.

We need to recognize when those moments of self-doubt are happening so that they stop holding us back from motivating ourselves. Find ways around these moments and thoughts by reminding yourself of your goals and the good things you have done.

Rest assured you are not alone if you have experienced self-doubt. Doubt is a sign of growth, but it can also be crippling at times. There are many reasons people might want to give up on themselves or their goals, and sometimes the best way to motivate yourself is with some tough love.
